We were Remote before it was cool
If you’ve collaborated with us in the past five years, you know that coming to our office is not much of an option, cause we don’t have one. Our HQ is in the cloud, and that’s because we have been Remote First since inception.
Remote work has been a fundamental tenet of HOO KOO E KOO. We will all, always, work remotely. All team members have flexible work hours and can work from any location, in any timezone.
Every year we evolve our remote process. We’ve developed processes and portfolios of tools to master remote work. That being said, we value interpersonal relationships and establish strong connections in the team. That’s why we prioritize the weekly team calls that allow us to see our faces, cats, dogs, babies and give little updates from our lives. We also meet annually in beautiful locations for our Team Retreats, which always leave us full of incredible memories and new experiences.
Most of our team members travel frequently, spanning over all time zones. We work with people from all over the world (currently counting over 18 countries and 25 nationalities).
And this is possible as we are all experienced, responsible, and accountable adults, who have put in their time at agencies, and have since wanted to find a way to do their work, instead of being given full agency (see what we did there?).
Some of us have mastered the nomadic work setup, and all of us value flexibility and work-life balance.
The foundation of a successful, fully remote team is trust, commitment, and transparency.
This humane approach allows us to feel comfortable and relaxed at work which results in better performance and higher productivity. We show up at work each day because we want to. And that is what makes HOO KOO E KOO a hub for passionate, extraordinary professionals who want not only their work but the methodology in how they work to bring about positive change in the world.
